The Central Wing is our 30 bed high care area that is home to our much loved resident’s that require that extra special care and attention at this point of their life. A team of qualified and dedicated clinical care staff which consists of Registered Nurse’s (RN), Enrolled Nurse’s (EN) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) offer round the clock care and only the highest standard of care, ensuring all their individual care needs are met and that residents are comfortable and well looked after. The dedicated care team here and throughout the whole facility is run by our Director of Nursing who has many years clinical experience so you can be assured that at all times only the highest level of care is provided to our residents and your loved ones.
Rooms are large in size and offer a homely comfortable feel with most accommodating two residents. Built in robes provide ample rooms for residents belongings and each have free-standing personal drawer cabinets. Residents are permitted and encouraged to bring in personal items including a recliner and bookcase where room permits. Hydronically heated and all air conditioned ensures rooms are kept at a very comforting temperature.
The rooms are clean and fresh with all providing natural light and privacy curtains when required.
The Central Wing has a large communal common area where residents can spend time sitting and interacting among one and other or participating in one of the many Lifestyle program activities that are regularly held there including sensory cooking to stimulate and arouse the senses and monthly concerts.
Meals can be provided to residents in either the day room or their rooms if they do not want to eat in the Dining Hall.
